ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL                                                                  

Job Description:

Valid Missouri Secondary Principal Certification Required

Administrative Experience Preferred

 

Length of Contract: 10.5 Months

 

Purpose:

The job of Assistant Principal is to provide support to the instructional process and culture of the school. Duties consist of directing school site programs and services, providing information and serving as a resource to others, supervising assigned staff, coordinating and supervising school activities and addressing issues and problems associated with enrolled students.

This position reports to the building Principal and assumes the role of the Principal in the event of his/her absence.

Experience/Education/Certification

Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is preferred. A Master’s Degree in the appropriate field of study and a Valid Missouri Secondary Principal Certificate is Required.
